Oh hai guyyyys~ Alright. This may be better suited for a Living-in-the-UK community but I figure, a good deal of you do live in the UK and are more familiar then I am with the BBC and it's website.

I'm endlessly stoked about the final Tennant DW specials and the showing of Hamlet, and I often hear it'll be available to watch on the BBC in a day or two, or something like that. So my question is- how does that work? Does the show air in the UK and is then available to watch online later that night?

I ask because I'll be in London for three weeks starting Dec 26th and ending Jan 17th and.. the dorm I'll be staying in has locked down their internet to disallow torrents, so it seems the BBC may be the only way.

The BBC's companion website for Hamlet has been updated (finally). You can go take a look here but so far I'm not seeing anything there currently (it'll be updated again at later dates with more) that is terribly Earth-shattering as far as people talking about the making of this particular production. It's definitely targeted towards people who either haven't read it/seen it, or can't remember anything about it. However, if you're currently studying Shakespeare in school, there's a lot of good stuff there.

Mostly, there are many pretty pictures! If you don't mind being a bit spoiled for the look and mood of the film, please enjoy this picspam of mostly just the Hamlet-y bits, with some Patrick Stewart goodness and pretty pretty Mariah Gale thrown in as well.

I'm easing my way back into the picspam thing. I opted to only have 44 images this time rather than the 75-100 that I had been up to for awhile. This may mean I'll have many parts to this picspam but I'll hopefully get them actually up quickly. I also feel like I ended this one at a good point.

The Fires of Pompeii is an episode so filled with happy cuteness that I don't feel anything I can say will be more awesome than the images. I hope everyone enjoys.

( Picspamming is a bit like riding a bike. I don't think I'd ever be able to fully forget. )

Also due to go into production next year is Decoy Bride, a Scottish-set romantic comedy starring David Tennant and Kelly Macdonald about a bitchy American actress who comes over to Scotland to get married, Madonna-style, in a glitzy castle.

"The title kind of says it all, really," says Rae. "She doesn't want the hassle of the paparazzi chasing her, so she hires a decoy. Her boyfriend, who is played by David Tennant, falls for the decoy. It's a fairytale. Kelly Macdonald is going to play the Scottish decoy".

*runs up panting* Yes, it's been months but I'm back (and for those of you who have never seen me picspam, Hello). I can't guarantee I'll keep at these but I'm really hoping to :D

But anyway, Fires of Pompeii is a fun historical episode and a very fun one to picspam. I'm a bit out of practice and so I'm hoping I regain my picspam game quickly. The pictures should be pretty enough to make up for any flaws in my wit.

PS: For those of you who remember, I had been working on Planet of the Dead. I decided against continuing it after the long break. The more I thought about it, the more I decided that I didn't like it.

Warning: my journal is generally very graphic heavy.
